Who we are and what we do

We are developing a cloud platform for Location Insight. We work with the location information of the data and thanks to it we can combine and analyze the data above the map. Our platform serves customers from retail and banks to online food delivery, but the possibilities of use are practically unlimited. Smart Quarantine is a good example.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced designer to join the Professional Services team at CleverMaps. We are looking for someone to introduce project management principles to all our ongoing and new projects.

Right from the start, you will be assigned the management of the grant project, which is the development of a platform for the collection, evaluation and publication of data for effective management of situations such as pandemics or natural disasters. The entire project falls under the Security Research Program of the Czech Republic.

Your task will be to communicate with all parties working on the project, which are the Mendel University in Brno, the client (Ministry of the Interior) and foreign partners.

This project follows on from the so-called Smart Quarantine, which we created together with the Covid19cz initiative. A key component was contact tracing built on our CleverMaps platform. Its purpose was to speed up the identification of places where the infected patient moved and to search for potentially infected individuals with whom he came into contact.

What will you be working on?

  • Your main task will be to implement project management methods into the standard course of customer and development projects in CleverMaps.
  • A special task will be the management of grant projects
  • You will manage and motivate the project team, monitor the budget, schedule and capacity.
  • Organization of coordination meetings and regular meetings.
  • We want to implement a simple system for PM. You cannot do without teamwork and the ability to negotiate with developers, analysts, university academics, state administration and foreign partners, as well as businessmen. You will be responsible for the direction and control of the implemented activities.

What we expect from you

  • Technology orientation, knowledge of data analysis and data integration is important.
  • You have to be able to organize your time and priorities.
  • Responsibility and good communication.
  • You will always have people around you with whom you can consult. For the duration of the project, we have at our disposal a professional consultant who has extensive experience with state projects.
  • Experience working with subsidy programs is an advantage.
