Natland expands position in renewables

The Natland Investment Group is strengthening in the energy sector, specifically in the renewable energy sector. It has become a 100% owner of Sunset Terrace, which operates the 5 MW Mastířovice photovoltaic power plant in the Litoměřice district.

The energy sector is one of the strategic areas of investment for the Natland Group, whose experience in the sector dates back to 2007.”We are building on the knowledge and expertise we gained as the founder of the Energy21 project, which has gradually become a leader in the field of renewable energy generation, operating 33 solar power plants with a total capacity of 62 MW ,” said Natland founder Tomáš Raška. The successful Energy21 project was subsequently acquired from Natland by Mid Europa Partners, a major European institutional fund.

Natland’s energy portfolio also includes the Energo Příbram heating plant and the group holds minority stakes in other energy operations in Slovakia.

“The energy sector is undergoing a dynamic transformation, with growing demand for clean sources and the increasing importance of new technologies in generation, storage and distribution. This opens up space for mid-sized investment groups that can respond quickly to emerging opportunities ,” explains Tomáš Raška. “Together with our foreign partners, we are now considering further investments and development projects in the renewable energy spectrum, where we see great potential for sustainable growth.”
