The awards in the 22nd year of the prestigious Mastercard Bank of the Year competition, of which Natland Investment Group is a partner, have been handed out. The overall winner was Komerční banka, based on the evaluation of the jury, which includes Natland Group Managing Partner David Manych. There are always heated debates among the judges during the voting and selection process, and this year some themes resonated more than others. “A big topic of discussion was in the area of deposits, valuation, service, how they maintain the expansion of services within internet banking, support outside of branches and security. Banking is no longer just about how to get and what interest rate, but clients are also interested in how relevant investment products with reasonable appreciation they are able to offer, all in a time of higher inflation. At the same time, it is about how they take care of their money, protect their resources, what measures banks are able to take and implement,” said David Manych.
It was he who then presented the awards, which are under the auspices of the Natland Group, at a gala dinner in the Municipal House. David Formánek from Komerční banka was awarded the Corporate Bank of the Year title and Tomáš Petr from Česká spořitelna took the Private Bank of the Year title.
