Natland will build a new district in Kladno

10.7.2025

The Natland investment group will actively participate in the development of the Central Bohemian town of Kladno. It has become the owner of the land near the newly reconstructed main railway station in the city and also the owner of the Stromovka Kladno development project.
The seller of the project was EBM Group, which is also active in Kladno with other residential projects and has been involved in the development of the Stromovka project from the beginning. The business partners agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

Within the planned new urban district of more than 52,000 square metres, over 600 flats and commercial premises are to be built in the future in several phases. Thanks to its location near a transport hub, the project may become one of the new city centres and the conceptual plans also envisage a small square and amenities such as restaurants, shops, cafés and a kindergarten. All of this within direct walking distance of the green area, as the current name of the project refers to, which is surrounded by a forest. The area can thus create not only a space for meeting and leisure, but also dozens of jobs.
“We already have experience with a similarly large area, a few years ago we built a new residential area in Prague’s ninth district in the Čakovice area and we are convinced that this helped us in negotiating and purchasing the Stromovka project,” said Natland partner Karel Týc.

“Kladno is a matter of the heart for us and its development is important to us. As we perceive Natland Group as a strong player in the real estate market, it was a suitable partner for the successful completion of the already launched Stromovka. We remain in the role of project manager and will be responsible for the permitting processes. At the same time, this allows us to fully concentrate on our other ongoing project in Kladno – Rezidence Engerth,” Jan Šulc, executive director of the EBM development group, said about the sale. Close and substantive discussions with the city, its authorities and the public administration bodies concerned, such as the Railway Administration, as well as participation with the locals will continue.

For Natland Group, the project in Kladno is the first development step out of the metropolis. The advantages of the Central Bohemian town are not only its strategic location, but also its transport accessibility, which is to be strengthened by the construction of a railway line to the Prague airport and further to Central Bohemia. “It is not only the residents of Kladno who are changing their priorities, the demand and interest in quality housing or a higher standard is growing as the generations of residents are gradually changing. At the same time, the city is an alternative for Prague residents, for whom we can offer a more affordable real estate option, in addition to being within easy reach of all services and nature,” Týc added.

The completion date of the Stromovka project will depend on the permitting processes and construction procedures. It will thus be placed alongside other development projects of the Natland Group, which is currently continuing the construction of the Lysolajský dvůr chamber project, which comprises approximately forty apartments and is currently on sale, and has five other projects in the capital in preparation.

Real estate investment is one of the strategic pillars of the Natland Group, which has been involved in real estate development under the Natland Real Estate brand for over ten years. In its projects, it strives for sustainability in their operation, not only in the Stromovka project, it would like to apply grey and rain water management, combine photovoltaics and green roofs, and more.
