Startups had and have their place in our portfolio. Internally, we have set a limit of 12 to 15 percent of equity for allocations to this type or development phase of the company. At the moment, we are fully invested in projects such as CleverFarm, CleverMaps, Inferity and Gauss Algorithmic in which we have been an active investor from the seed stage to the present. This is mainly because all of these investments have a narrow focus on “data science”, whether it is the analysis, interpretation, visualization of data in medicine as Anygence (Inferity), the field of precision agriculture (CF) or the design and implementation of AI solutions for major Czech or international companies (GA).
David Manych, who is mainly responsible for the financial management of the group, holding entities and holdings in the financial services segment, explained the group’s experience in investing in start-ups in an interview with Startupjobs and SJ News.
